About Patrice Lauren

Patrice Lauren entered the field of freelance writing after thirteen years as a public school teacher in the state of Texas. Her topics range from reviews of movies and books, to editorials, and informational articles on many subjects. Her interests include cultural differences, studies of religion and spirituality, health and mental health issues, politics, pets, gardening, crafts, and various subjects of interest to home owners.

Ms Lauren recieved her BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin, and she has completed post graduate studies certifying her as a teacher of English as a Second Language. Ms Lauren's poetry has been published in over a dozen anthologies, and her work will be featured in an upcoming on-line issue of NJIA magazine.
